Games and prizes
The rules of the games run on Dénichéo: who may play, how, which prizes are offered and how they are awarded.
Dénichéo occasionally runs free promotional games with no purchase necessary — scratch card, wheel of fortune — allowing participants to win virtual credit or promotion options. These rules set out the conditions of entry, the nature of the prizes, how they are awarded and the redress available to participants. They apply to every operation run on the Platform, unless specific rules are published for a given operation, which would then prevail for that operation only.

Conditions
Active account, adult, resident in France
In plain wordsThe games are organised by the site's publisher, with no third party involved.
The promotional games available on the Dénichéo platform are organised by WB CONSULTING, the sole trader business operated by William BASTARD (“the Organiser”).
No third party co-organises, funds or supplies prizes for these operations, unless expressly stated in the specific rules of a given operation.
In plain wordsThese are free promotional games, not gambling: no stake is required.
The games offered take the form of a scratch card or a wheel of fortune, available on the Platform while an operation is running.
They are free promotional games with no purchase necessary under French consumer law. They are neither a lottery subject to authorisation nor gambling: no financial sacrifice, stake or purchase is required to enter or to receive a prize.
The existence of an operation, its name, validity period, available games and prizes are announced on the Platform, in particular through a dedicated banner. Outside the announced periods, no entry is possible.
In plain wordsEach game has a start and end date announced in advance.
Each operation is open for a defined period, whose start and end dates and times are displayed on the Platform, expressed in Paris time.
Entries recorded before an operation opens or after it closes are not taken into account. Only the entry date recorded by the Organiser's systems is authoritative.
Several operations may run consecutively or concurrently; the daily entry limit then applies globally, across all games.
In plain wordsYou need an active Dénichéo account, must be an adult and reside in France.
Entry is open to any natural person of full age holding an active, verified and unsuspended Dénichéo account and residing in mainland France.
Entry is strictly personal. Only one account per person is allowed; entries made from multiple accounts belonging to the same person are cancelled.
The Organiser, any of its collaborators and members of their households are excluded from entry.
Entry implies full and unreserved acceptance of these rules and of the Platform's terms of use.
In plain wordsOne play per day, with no purchase, from the game banner.
To enter, log in to your account, open the game from the dedicated banner displayed on the Platform, then confirm the play.
Each account may make one (1) entry per twenty-four (24) hour period, across all games and operations. The date and time of the next possible entry are displayed after each play.
No purchase, subscription or fee is required. Connection costs incurred to enter are not reimbursed, internet access being assumed to exist independently.
The result is displayed immediately at the end of the play and can be viewed in the account area.
In plain wordsPrizes are benefits usable on Dénichéo, never cash.
The prizes offered are benefits internal to the Platform, whose nature and value are stated for each operation. They may fall within the following categories.
In plain wordsThe result is drawn at random for each play, using probabilities set in advance.
The result of each play is determined by a random draw carried out by the Organiser's systems when the play is confirmed.
Each prize category is assigned, for a given operation, a probability weight fixed before the operation opens. The probability of obtaining a given prize is the ratio between its weight and the sum of the weights of all possible outcomes, including the non-winning outcome.
Draws are independent from one play to the next: a previous entry, winning or not, does not influence the outcome of later ones.
Results are recorded and timestamped. In the event of a dispute, only the Organiser's system records are authoritative.
In plain wordsCredit is added immediately; other prizes are activated from the “Mes lots” area.
Virtual credit won is added immediately to the participant's account balance and usable with no further steps.
Other prizes are recorded as entitlements to claim, viewable in the “Mes lots” section of the account area. Participants activate them themselves on the listing of their choice, subject to the conditions specific to each option.
A prize not claimed within six (6) months of being awarded is deemed abandoned and may be cancelled, without the participant being entitled to any compensation.
A prize may only be activated on a listing that complies with the terms of use. Withdrawal of a listing for moderation reasons prevents activation of the prize on that listing, without depriving the participant of the ability to use it on another.
In plain wordsA prize cannot be resold, given away or turned into cash.
Prizes are strictly personal and non-transferable. They may not be sold, exchanged, transferred to another account, refunded, or converted into cash or any other monetary equivalent, including where the account is closed.
Virtual credit obtained is governed by the regime set out in the terms of use: it is neither a means of payment nor electronic money, and may only be used within the Platform.
The Organiser cannot be required to replace a prize that becomes unavailable for reasons beyond its control; it may then award a prize of equivalent nature and value.
In plain wordsMultiple accounts, automation or circumvention: winnings are cancelled.
Any scheme intended artificially to increase the chances of winning — creating multiple or fictitious accounts, impersonation, use of an automated device, circumventing the daily entry limit, exploiting a technical anomaly — results in immediate cancellation of the entries and prizes concerned.
The Organiser reserves the right to suspend or close the account of the author of such schemes, under the conditions provided for in the terms of use, and to take any appropriate action.
Where a technical malfunction awards a prize contrary to these rules, the award is cancelled and the participant is informed.
In plain wordsAn operation may be shortened or amended; prizes already won remain acquired.
The Organiser may amend, shorten, extend, suspend or cancel an operation, in particular in cases of force majeure, technical constraint, large-scale fraud or regulatory change.
Any amendment is announced on the Platform and reflected in an update to these rules, with effect for the future only.
Prizes duly awarded before the amendment, suspension or cancellation remain acquired by their beneficiaries.
Such measures give rise to no compensation for participants.
In plain wordsThe Organiser is not liable for technical issues beyond its control.
The Organiser cannot be held liable for network malfunctions, failure of the participant's device or connection, data loss, or any other event beyond its control preventing entry or the award of a prize.
Nor can it be held liable for the use made of a prize by its beneficiary, or for the consequences of publishing a listing promoted using a prize.
The above limitations do not apply in cases of gross negligence, wilful misconduct or personal injury.
In plain wordsEntries are recorded to award prizes and prevent fraud.
Data processed in connection with an entry — account identifier, date and time of entry, game used, result, prize awarded and claim status — is processed to run the game, award prizes and prevent fraud.
Processing is based on performance of the contract for running the game and on the Organiser's legitimate interests for fraud prevention.
Retention periods, recipients and how to exercise your rights are detailed in the privacy and cookie policy.
No entry-related data is published or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes.
In plain wordsThe rules can be consulted online free of charge at any time.
These rules may be consulted free of charge, at any time, at denicheo.com/legal/en/promotional-games-rules, for the whole duration of the operations.
They may be sent free of charge by email to anyone requesting them at the Organiser's contact address.
Entering a game implies unreserved acceptance of these rules and of the rules of conduct in force on the internet. No dispute relating to the interpretation of these rules will be admissible more than thirty (30) days after the close of the operation concerned.
In plain wordsFrench law, with a complaint to the support desk before any action.
These rules are governed by French law.
Any dispute relating to an operation must be sent in writing to Dénichéo's support desk within thirty (30) days of the close of the operation concerned, and receives a reasoned reply.
Failing amicable resolution, a consumer participant may use the consumer mediation arrangements described in the terms of sale, then bring the matter before the competent court under general law.
Our support desk answers any request for clarification, correction or appeal, and keeps a written record of the exchange.
These documents form a whole: each refers to the others where relevant.
